We are seeking a Billing Specialist in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The primary responsibilities of this position include preparation and processing of bills for Medicare Part A and B, Michigan Medicaid, and private insurance; as well as the monitoring, tracking and collection of all receivables.

**Essential Functions of the position include**:

- Prepare and submit clean claims to all payers
- Achieve and maintain DSO
- Track, manage and communicate claims related medical record reviews.
- A High School Diploma with an Associates Degree in Business or Accounting preferred
- A minimum of two years of medical billing experience
- An understanding of Medicaid rules & regulations
- Ability to prioritize, organize and complete multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong social & interpersonal skills

All persons accepting a conditional offer of employment are then required to undergo a criminal background check. Conditional offers of employment will be rescinded where the results of this background prohibit a person from working in Long Term Care facilities.
