objective of the AR specialist is to make outbound customer service phone calls, perform daily manual and automated billing functions, administer delinquent accounts through the “Board of Directors collection policies”, maintain an accurate ownership roster, and to help our customers solve billing problems. The Accounts Receivable Specialist reports to the Accounts Receivable Assistant Supervisor and/or Accounts Receivable Manager and works closely with the cash receipts department, staff accountants, resort staff and Platinum Interchange team members. Records payments to customers' accounts and maintains accounts receivable records by performing the following duties. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities* include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Generation and billing (Manual and Automated); billing timeshare owner’s association members on a daily, quarterly, semi-annual, & annual basis for maintenance fees. Customer service - telephonic and written communication with customers resolving billing and account payment questions. (Call volume ranges from light to very heavy on a cyclical basis revolving around the billing cycles). Update HOA’s ownership roster daily by adding new owners to the association’s roster in the AS400. Delinquent account administration including indentifying and processing accounts for collection by outside agencies. Review unresolved delinquent accounts returned from collection agencies for foreclosure by outside processors. Maintain timeshare owners association roster records including ownership changes and roster reconcilliations. Prepare collection and account status reports for management. Escrow demands. Set up of payment plans. Research accounts/problem solving. Maintain accurate unit reconciliation daily and weekly. Running delinquency reports. Data entry. Perform data base searches. Provide U.O.S. with collection information. Interface with accountants regarding billing to ensure proper use of Revenue Codes. Interface with Resort Managers and Project Directors regarding homeowner accounts. Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits:
