**Job Overview**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Accurately verifies, classifies, and records invoices, and expenses in Quickbooks
- Maintain vendor records and files
- Maintains historical records by scanning and filing documents
- Prepare weekly payable reports, and obtain approvals
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Verify any discrepancies within the system
- Problem-solve and resolving any vendor issues; contract, invoice or payment discrepancies
- Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, collecting and verifying federal id numbers, certificates of insurance, scheduling payments and preparing checks
- Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos
- Provide office communication support by fielding calls, answering questions, and forwarding messages
- Ad hoc

**Qualifications/Skills**
- Proficient in Quickbooks
- Basic office skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principals
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office software skills
- Dependability and professionalism
- Great attention to detail
- General math skills
- Data entry skills

**Requirements**:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience working in Quickbooks
- Previous accounts payable experience preferred

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
