**Position Summary**:
LAFCU's** Help Desk Support Representative** is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security of company networks and computer systems. Their duties include installing antivirus or malware protection software, responding to employee concerns or drafting documents to help employees use computer systems and coordinating with company leadership to determine new technologies that could enhance their company’s computer systems. Help Desk Support Representative typically works for corporations across industries to ensure that employees have secure and efficient computer systems to fulfill their daily job responsibilities. They work closely with IT personnel and company employees to update systems, address security breaches, and help troubleshoot issues. Their job is to plan for problematic situations and create procedures to restore computer systems and their functionality.

**Job Summary / Description**
- Under close supervision, responsible for screening, referring and diagnosing internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to the scanning of items into the imaging system and related systems.
- Provide telephone based technical support to end users throughout the organization including hardware and software support.
- Ensure the timely scanning and accurate placement of documents into the imaging system.
- Maintain good understanding of the credit union’s daily operations, so that the imaging needs of the departments are met.
- Notify V.P. of Information Technology of any system related issues.
- Assist with all new software and hardware updates to the imaging system and ensure implementation is completed, as scheduled.
- Ensure all imaging policies and procedures are documented and daily logs completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain skill and knowledge of the changes and enhancements in the imaging industry.
- Make recommendations for enhancement or improvements to the system

**Qualification & Opportunities**

- Requires two years credit union experience in Operations and/or Lending.
- Good working knowledge of wide variety of software, hardware and PC operating systems.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows hardware and software required.
- Strong organizational skills and good oral and written communication skills required.

**Salary**
- The minimum and maximum base salary range for this position is $24.75 to $36.17 in California.
- ** The target starting base hourly rate is between $24.75 to $30.46.**:

- This compensation and benefits information is based on Los Angeles Federal Credit Union's good faith estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future.
- The starting base salary within the range will depend on a variety of factors that may include relevant prior experience and/or education, or skills and expertise.
