Part Time Dispatcher

Looking for a Part-Time Dispatcher for our fast paced towing company. Please read entire ad prior to applying.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assisting customers and clients while providing superior customer service
- Responsible for sending invoices and recording payments.
- Ability to keep track of drivers, trucks, and their inventories
- Complete and maintain call logs in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain filing system in an organized fashion.
- Ability to ensure organization and drivers are performing tows while maintaining compliance with the laws for Montgomery County.
- Create notices, correspondences and certified letters
- Maintain cleanliness of front offices, lobby, the dispatch office and restroom through ongoing housekeeping and routine cleaning with daily clean up.
- Keep accurate records of time of departure or dispatch, time of arrival and time of call completion, tow destinations, all COD charges, including complete and accurate documentation.
- Ability to answer phones overnight at times
- All other tasks as assigned

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous experience in the towing industry preferred.
- Well organized, motivated, and able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Must be detail oriented with excellent work ethic and listening skills.
- Must have reliable, punctual and have dependent transportation.
- Strong writing and communication skills in English. Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to learn quickly, problem-solve, and remain composed to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Possesses essential sales skills: fielding calls, pricing services, managing customer expectations, negotiating with insurance companies, building relationships, listening, asking questions, problem-solving
- Happy to _work _on holidays because that’s when our customers need us the most
- Proficient in technology as well as proficient in MS Office Suite. Knowledge of Towbook is a plus.
- Self-motivated, self-starter resourceful, with proven ability to multi-task under pressure
- Be professional and have ability to provide superior customer service even with the most difficult clients.
- Learn quickly in a fast paced environment
- Computers - Chrome, MS Office, PDF editing, Towbook and more.
- Be patient with a good demeanor for occasional stressful situations

**SALARY/HOURLY EXEMPTION**:

- Part-Time; Non-Exempt
- Salary based on knowledge and experience

**WORKING HOURS**:

- Friday 7 a.m.5 p.m., As needed; Saturday-Sunday 7 a.m.4 p.m.
- Extended hours on an as needed basis.

**EDUCATION**:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

**PHYSICAL**:

- Ability to stand, bend, twist, walk, kneel.
- Talk and hear.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.25 - $16.25 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 26 per week

**Benefits**:

- Paid training

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Holidays
