AMC is currently looking for a **Human Resource Generalist **to join our amazing company

**Responsibilities**:

- Processes required documentation and communication to payroll to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and compliance processes.
- Perform new hire orientations, assist new hires with their on-boarding documentation, I-9 Authorizations, as well as maintaining onboarding dashboard in HRIS system.
- Schedules, organizes, and executes all HR employee engagement events for the calendar year and keeps company calendar updated.
- Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Administer leaves of absence such as FMLA, Workers Comp, STD
- Create, update, and interpret employment policies
- Provide guidance on adherence to employment practices and policies
- Maintain employee files, benefits enrollment information, payroll records, and all other employment related records
- Keeps up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Compiles payroll data such as Garnishments, PTO time, insurance and 401(k) deductions.
- Maintains data within the HRIS system to ensure accurate payroll processing. Adjusts, corrections and edits information as necessary.
- Ability to run a weekly payroll for 50 non union & 70 union employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- **Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience can also be considered.
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR role or 6 without a degree.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production and union environment is helpful.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
