LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Tinley Park, IL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources. The ideal candidate will assist in the research, development, and implementation of strategies aimed at improving organizational efficiency and aiding in change management initiatives. This multifaceted role encompasses various HR functions including recruitment, compliance, benefits administration, compensation management, employee relations, training, performance management, retention strategies, affirmative action, and immigration. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies to enhance organizational efficiency and support change management initiatives.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, staying up to date with changes in legislation.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
  • Manage compensation processes, including salary benchmarking and conducting compensation reviews.
  • Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to employees and management.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Manage performance evaluation processes and provide support to managers in performance management activities.
  • Develop and implement employee retention strategies.
  • Oversee affirmative action compliance efforts and immigration processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR function, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS data entry.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Coordinator or HR Generalist.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Strong understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Paylocity (or similar HRIS), and compensation management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with change management initiatives is a plus.
