Under the direction of the Director of Communications Marketing, grow GSGA's media channels by implementing and reporting social media strategies related to graduate school programs and international education Contribute to reports and marketing productions for various GSGA units Assist with planning, coordinating, staffing and executing events for GSGA units.

**Key Duties & Responsibilites**

1. Writes, edits and designs communications and promotional materials (i.e. graduate school newsletter)

2. Determines most appropriate method of composition and distribution.

3. Conducts interviews, generates story ideas and coordinates photography sessions.

4. Creates and Serves as project manager for special events such as PhD hooding ceremony.

5. Provides topical guidance as needed.

Annual Salary Range: $45,395 - $53,000

**Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Mass Communications or a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Minimum hiring rate must meet the most current FLSA guidelines for salary level and basis to remain exempt.
