Construction Contract Specialist

Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time **Construction Contract Specialist - Project Administration** with construction experience in the New **Jersey City, NJ** area.
This is a full-time, hybrid position.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare project books which contain the complete and project specific administrative and technical requirements for construction and maintenance contracts.
- Coordinate the scope of work requirements given by the Project Manager with appropriate engineering and design divisions.
- Provide guidance in fulfilling contractual procedures to project team members, such Lead Engineer/Architect, Engineering Task Leads, and Project Managers.
- Assist in the development of staging requirements, milestone completion requirements, hours of work, and other special contractual conditions as required.
- Assist in the correspondence and execution of contractual and technical stages between engineering staff and other departments, such as legal and procurement, and address, communicate, and resolve any comments or issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate filing and distribution of documents, both digital and/or manual.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years in the field of contract administration in a construction setting.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office is required. Stronger proficiency is preferred.
- **A valid driver's license is required for this position.**:
- Staff must have the ability to pass a Secure Worker Access Consortium (SWAC) personnel background screening at a High Level and ability to comply with policies on information security.
- Staff must have demonstrated ability to meet schedules and budgets for project deliverables.
- Staff must have strong interpersonal, written, oral and collaboration skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
