The Employer Account Management Division (EAMD) oversees and manages the day-to-day retirement operations of membership, payroll, compensation review, and serves as the state Social Security Administrator for public agencies throughout the state. We are committed to providing superior service and support to our business partners to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting. The Employer Payroll Reporting Team(s) are responsible for assisting public agencies, state departments, and school employers with ensuring compensation and contribution data is reported timely and accurately.

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Staff Services Analyst’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Review, research and analyze payroll data to determine and resolve payroll errors and invalid payroll reporting.
- Provide guidance to Business Partners relative to payroll reporting and the myCalPERS system.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with stakeholders on reporting requirements.
