Elk River Development, based out of Warrenton, VA, is a commercial general contractor focused on federal contracting projects. We are seeking a driven **Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist** for our expanding and growing team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Order office supplies/keep an inventory of all office supplies.
- Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, and making travel plans.
- Preparing conference rooms before and after meetings.
- Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
- Sorting and distributing mail.
- Provide excellent customer service as needed.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Maintain a clean and organized office.
- Punctual.
**Requirements**:
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
