The Product Sales Manager (PSM) for Fiber Process Parts (FPP) will focus on pulp and paper wear parts (Screens, Cleaners, and Refiner Segments) to sell consumable products. This is a highly visible position within the company, critical to the advancement and growth of the organization.

The PSM has the following resources available for this role:

- Existing product line and technology.
- Design engineering support for new design concepts.
- Extensive marketing database.

- Brand Name Recognition
- Established Sales Volume

**Responsibilities**:
The responsibility of the Product Sales Manager is to maintain the current business and grow market share. That breaks down to two major roles:

- Proactive - With regular visits and communication, know the customer base, the key decision makers for Fiber Process Parts and assure that the customer is in best product and that Valmet is meeting all their needs. Develop a sales plan to grow market share and solidify existing share. When needed, understand the needs and wants of the customer and process conditions to provide a product that will meet their needs. Propose and monitor trials in order to prove Valmet can provide a better solution than the competitor.

Expectations

To be successful in this role, you should have a Technical degree, preferably in Paper Science, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. You should also have experience in the Pulp & Paper Mill, and/or Mechanical Pulp Mill. Co-Op and Internships will be considered as experience. As you'll be working closely with our customers within a region, you'll spend part of your time traveling.
