**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Purchase raw material, machinery, tools, or services necessary for the operation of the facility.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels to alleviate shortages and effectively support production.
- Based on business needs; generate, track, and receive purchase orders through ERP system.
- Continually develop and maintain professional vendor and customer relationships through electronic and verbal communication.
- Communicate with management and internal departments regarding order and delivery status, sourcing material, and clarify transactional inconsistencies.
- Participate in monthly physical inventory. Perform inventory audits and report any discrepancies.
- Demonstrate a willingness to understand our product and material needs.
- General clerical duties include running reports, operate office equipment, maintaining records, answering phones, and filing.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain or inventory management; or equivalent combination of education and experience (required)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a PLUS.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Internet research.
- Working knowledge of Sage 100 a PLUS.
