Center For Family Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Full-Time Receptionist to manage all facets of the reception desk at our Voorhees Outpatient location. Receptionist is responsible to maintain and effectively administer our front desk systems ensuring courteous and efficient work standards. Focus is to provide support services to facilitate the Agency's goals and objectives while providing a positive image of Center For Family Services at all times.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To regard all information about clients as confidential.
- To greet clients and announce arrival to appropriate agency staff person.
- To provide clients with Intake paperwork to review and complete, and scan into the client's electronic health record, including obtaining copy of identification and insurance.
- To verify and update current demographic information and insurance at time of check in.
- To collect appropriate fees from clients, record accurately, and exercise responsibility for those fees.
- To keep reception area neat at all times and maintain current reading material.
- To schedule appointments as requested and enter in the appropriate provider's schedule.
- To make confirmation calls to clients for appointments the following day.
- To balance money at end of the shift and secure according to procedures.
- To open/close office, following checklist and according to procedures.
- To be familiar with emergency procedures and appropriate contacts in case of an emergency situation.
- To carry out designated duties as assigned by supervisor.
- To be trained in Presumptive Eligibility and assist eligible uninsured clients to obtain temporary Medicaid.
- To refer all walk-ins and screening calls to the Access Department.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Good typing and data entry skills.
- At least one (1) year experience as a receptionist.
- Sensitivity in functioning in a multi-cultural work setting.
- Ability to communicate clearly and consistently.
- Sensitivity and understanding in human relations.
- A valid NJ driver's license.
- Ability to handle money accurately.
