The Accounts Receivable Administrative Assistant provides support to the AR Team and Finance department. This role plays a crucial role in managing financial transactions related to accounts receivable for our Canada offices.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Monitor the Canada AR inboxes and complete action items in a timely manner.
- Answer customer calls and either provide information or forward appropriate calls to others in the department.
- Provide support to Collections Specialists, such as pulling invoice documents from both ERP systems.
- Reconcile customer payment remittances.
- Complete EFT forms.
- Assist collectors with customer account reconciliations when needed.
- Assist in setting up new or updating current Canadian customer profiles in Sage.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong organizational abilities
- Professional communication with internal stakeholders and customers
- Ability to identify priorities and manage workload without close supervision
- Initiative to drive projects and tasks to completion
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
- General knowledge of accounting processes and appropriate terms
- Solid data entry skills
- General math skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**WORK HOURS**:
Work hours are a standard Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm.

**PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND REQUIREMENTS**:
Role is performed in typical office environment with climate control and proper lighting; typical sedentary computer work station. A small amount of bending and stooping is required for filing.
