**Key Responsibilities**:The essential duties of the Human Resources and Accounting Assistant consist of, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:

- Participate in talent acquisition process
- Conduct informative new hire orientations
- Assist with payroll process
- Serve as a reliable source of information for employees, promptly responding to payroll and onboarding issues.
- Update employee files to reflect current benefits, employment status, etc.
- Assist with administration of team programs and activities.
- Generate and distribute monthly member statements.
- Promptly respond to billing inquiries, providing a timely resolution to discrepancies
- Accurately process member payments from multiple sources
- Manage the AR collection process.
- Assist with accounts payable as needed.
- Participate in month and year-end closing activities as needed
- Create and update various excel spreadsheets with attention to detail.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller.

**Minimum Skill Requirements and Background**:

- Desire and willingness to work in a flexible, team-oriented work environment.
- Handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.
- Prioritize tasks with the ability to transition from one task to another as needed.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting and HR policies and procedures.
- Bilingual preferred-fluent in English/Spanish
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is imperative.
- Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal correspondence.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
