**OVERVIEW**:
The **2nd Assistant Store Leader**: will work in partnership with the Store Leader to build and motivate their team to maximize sales and profitability, ensure excellent customer service, and uphold all South Moon Under’s visual and operational standards. They will drive business through effective product placement and maintenance of the South Moon Under environment.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES**:

- Consistently meet or exceed the financial and operational expectations of the store. Along with the Store Leader, share responsibility for the store’s profitability.
- Perform all opening and closing procedures and ensure daily adherence to opening and closing checklists.
- Meet or exceed shrinkage goal thru maintaining strong loss prevention guidelines and audits.
- Assist in maintaining store visual standards.
- Lead and motivate the store team. Serve as a proactive mentor, teacher, and problem solver. Utilize all available training tools to provide consistent training to all staff.
- Emulate the brand aesthetics and embody a strong sense of fashion and an enthusiastic attitude.
- Performs other duties related to the qualifications and requirements of the job.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma required; associate degree preferred
- 1+ years management-level position in a specialty retail environment preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and POS systems
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Travel may be required

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:
