Overview:
**Job Title**: Quality Control Manager

**Reports To**: Project Manager

**Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Have completed the course entitled "Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors" and maintain a current certificate. The QC Manager who does not have a current certification must obtain the CQM for Contractors course certification. This course is periodically offered by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command and the Army Corps of Engineers.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Approve or reject materials and workmanship
- Monitor the progress of projects and identify potential problems early on
- Train and supervise quality control personnel
- Communicate with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and other stakeholders on quality matters

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with at least two years experience as a QC Manager
- Familiarity with the requirements of USACE EM 385-1-1
- Experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Deadline and detail-oriented

**Additional Preference**:

- Graduate of a four-year accredited college or university program in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or Building Science. -Not Required.
