Job Summary:

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the administration of plans and programs for the Andrews Support Division in accordance with contract requirements and staff responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer all aspects of the ASD property control plan, including division training requirements.
  • Perform as the primary control officer for division and government assets.
  • Ensure division personnel are trained, assets recorded, properly tracked and inventoried in accordance with company policies and United States Air Force directives.
  • Coordinate Report of Survey actions, assign control numbers, and provide briefings on ROS program as required.
  • Perform Disaster Control Group (DCG) duties as required, acting as the primary DCG member representing the 89th MXG and Amentum.
  • Perform duties as the UCC as required.
  • Coordinate Logistics Control Center contingency or mobility requirements for equipment and personnel between wing and squadron agencies.
  • Identify requirements for new and/or additional facilities and/or repair to existing facilities by preparation and submission of AF Form 332 to Base Civil Engineering (BCE).
  • Report facility discrepancies in accordance with Andrews AFB Facilities Manager Handbook.
  • Identify facility upgrade, repair, and improvement requirements and participate in the Andrews AFB Appearance Program.
  • Review Facility status and assess improvements that would enhance the working environment and morale.
  • Responsible for granting facility/restricted area access for Amentum employees.
  • Verify security clearance of employees and issue contractor Common Access Cards (CACs) and Restricted Area Badges (RABs) for base and flight line access.
  • Provide Security Forces Industrial Security Manager with a Visitor Authorization Letter.
  • Perform all duties and tasks required of the Telephone Control Officer (TCO) in accordance with AFI.
  • Perform duties and functions in accordance with established company policies, procedures, and ISO 9002 requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree is preferable.
  • With a BS degree, two to four years of experience in property control management and plan administration.
  • Without a degree, 8+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
