**Job Title: Procurement Officer**
Sawh Volt Comm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to oversee and facilitate our contracting, rentals, and customization projects. This position will handle the scheduling and coordination of contractors, manage dumpster and equipment rentals, and assist in the procurement and customization of company promotional products.
Responsibilites:
- Coordinate with multiple licensed and insured contractors to schedule onsite evaluations.
- Communicate with the team leader to identify which maintenance employee will meet contractors onsite; obtain and disseminate the scope of work accordingly.
- Manage appointment scheduling and communicate details to respective team members.
- Maintain a comprehensive contractor spreadsheet and follow up on contractor quotes and job progress.
- Handle the logistics of dumpster rental across various sites, including coordination of delivery, placement, and pickup.
- Manage equipment and vehicle rentals, ensuring timely drop-off and pickup.
- Oversee the customization of company products such as sweaters, hoodies, shirts, and other promotional materials.
- Document financial transactions related to projects, ensuring invoices and receipts are saved for reconciliation and billing purposes.
- Update and maintain project-related data for future reference and continuous improvement.
- Manage recurring site maintenance tasks such as backflow tests, fire sprinkler upkeep, lawn sprinkler maintenance, and elevator maintenance.
- Handle municipal engagements for maintenance issues, including oath violations, and DOB/FDNY inquiries and payments.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in procurement or a related field is a plus.
