Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Record accurate day to day financial transactions for high transaction company using QuickBooks
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
- Assist in payroll processing and maintaining employee records
- Complete tax forms
- Support human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and organizing training session
- Oversee office budget and expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Organize and manage office events, including vendor management
- Perform general administrative tasks to support various departments. Assist in project management and material procurement
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by managing calendars, schedules, company assets and meeting deadlines
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events
**Skills**:
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers. Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office, Dropbox.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
- Strong schedule management skills to coordinate meetings and appointments effectively
- Understanding of human resources practices for employee support
- Ability to develop training programs for staff development.
- Prior experience in office management roles
- Proficient in calendar management.
- Familiarity with vendor management practices
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in English, Spanish is a plus
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.50 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to Relocate:
- Santa Cruz, CA 95062: Relocate before starting work (required)
