**Job Location**: In Person - Wilton, CT
**Part-Time**: 15 - 20 hours a week; 3 days a week prefered; flexible hours.
**Hourly rate**: $20 - $25, based on qualifications and experience.

**Position Description**:
Montage Modern is an e-commerce high-end home furnishing company focusing on mid-century modern pieces that are custom-restored. Montage sells both directly to customers, as well as on 3rd party platforms such as Chairish and 1stDibs. Pieces are often sold to very discerning clients, including some of the most prestigious and renowned interior designers in the country.

The Operations Manager’s role is to oversee the production chain of goods, from initial inquiry to receipt of goods by the client, ensuring that each step of the production chain is completed in a timely manner and the end product meets our stringent quality control.

Principle duties of the position include the following:
Client Communication:

- Receive and field inquiries from clients in a timely manner.
- Generate quotes and invoices via the CRM database, Zoho.
- Fulfill swatch requests from clients.
- Advise clients of accurate lead times.
- Update clients regarding the production of their items.
- Field in-person inquiries.

Information Technology:

- Maintain Montage Operations spreadsheets to track the progress of all orders.

Logistics:

- Manage the workflow of the parts department to ensure that projects are being done in a timely and consistent manner to meet the production schedule and that items are meeting quality control during production.
- Ensure that parts are sent to our vendors in a timely-manner, accompanied by work or purchase orders.
- Ensure that needed parts and materials are ordered, including fabrics, leather hides, and materials needed by the work station.
- Request shipping quotes for products sold directly via Montage and invoice the client for shipping costs.
- Manage the pick-up up of items sold on Chairish and 1stDibs.

Finance:

- Maintain an accurate accounting of expected incoming receivables from 3rd party online platforms.
- Maintain the CRM database to accurately reflect all sales and generate reports as needed.
- Ensure that invoices are seen by the accounts payable.
- File the quarterly CT state sales tax report.

Quality Control:

- Ensure that every product that leaves Montage meets our high-quality standards to ensure that our discerning clients will be satisfied.
- Document items by taking pictures prior to packing and shipping.
- Trouble-shoot any issues that may arise including issues related to products damaged in transit.

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to multitask, work well under-pressure, and communicate with sometimes demanding clients.
- A team-player with a good attitude and patience.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
