**Allegria Nursing & Rehabilitation located in Port Jefferson Station is looking for an enthusiastic staffing coordinator to join or team.The staffing coordinator will be responsible for the overall staffing needs of the facility.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensures the schedules are provided to staff and posted in a timely manner
- Communicates with Director of Nursing and Deparment Heads staffing needs, communicates openly with shift supervisors
- Maintains civerage in the absense of the HR/Payroll Director
- Maintains and posts the Medicare/Medicaid Staffing Daily
- Ensures documentation of individual staff call outs and communicates with DON/Department Heads as needed-Follows Attendance Policy
- Monitor daily PPD
- Reviews PTO requests for nursing department
- Reviews time sheets weekly and ensures accuracy and timely approval for payroll processing
- Monitor and minimize staff overtime
- Knowledgeable of Nursing Budget as it relates to staffing
**Requirements/Qualifications**:
- 3 Years staffing experience preferred
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Union experience
- **Education**: Mid Level (3-6 years)
- **Experience**: High School Diploma/GED
