As a Transportation Lead, you will be responsible for managing & shifting labor, coaching & training team members, ensuring the Transportation Team achieves key metrics, and holding the team accountable to Good Eggs policies & standards.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- This hands-on role requires you to uplift the team and actively drive improvements to key metrics.
- Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Fulfillment Center Leadership to establish, communicate, and execute measurable operations goals that deliver uncompromised safety, quality, service, and performance results.
- Meet and exceed productivity and performance objectives.
- Provide leadership with feedback on process improvements and employee performance.
- Keep track of shift productivity, overtime, and downtime.
- Spearheaded change and management efforts as processes and policies change.
- Uphold all company values and policies.
- Manage and control the overall warehouse and transportation workflow utilizing ideas and areas for improvement identified by the teams.
- Provide coaching & training for all team members.
- Act as a resource for the team to set them up for success.
- Contribute to a professional, supportive, and collaborative team environment.
- Contribute to developing effective employee training programs resulting in a cross-trained and agile workforce.
- Triage & troubleshoot all issues as they arise with urgency

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or equivalent. A college degree is a big plus.
- 1 or more years of warehousing or delivery experience. Experience overseeing delivery operations is a plus.
- Computer skills - data entry, general report generation, spreadsheet design, data manipulation, experience using Apple Mac is a plus
- Great communication skills including telephone skills
- Excellent Time and Attendance

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to regularly lift, carry, and/or push and/or pull between 30 to 50 pounds.
- Walking: Up to 6 hours per day
- Standing: Up to 6 hours per day
- Ability to work for extended periods of time in refrigeration and a freezer
- (-10F)
- Seating: Up to 6 hours per day
- Reaching: Up, down, or laterally, up to 6 hours per day
- Please be aware that you are required to wear PPE for Covid-19, food safety, local, state, or federal laws, and related PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as mandated by Company Policy.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work schedule depends on company needs - may change with business
- Some work duties may be performed outdoors.
- Some work duties are performed in an open warehouse, with open dock doors. Temperatures can fluctuate by up to 20 degrees depending on the weather outside.
- Some work duties may be performed in walk-in coolers and freezers (temperatures as low as -10°F)
- Some work duties may include temporary assignments.

$20 - $23 an hour
