This position develops, plans, and facilitates life engagement programming for the residents of the community based on their rights, needs, and preferences with the concepts of independence, individuality, dignity, and privacy in an Assisted Living-Memory Care community in the **Collage Station**, **TX** area. - **Life Engagement Programming**_
- Develop, coordinate, and facilitate life engagement programming in conjunction residents’ feedback.
- Lead and provide supervision to additional future Life Engagement team members outlining a clear plan to meet and or achieve goals and outcomes
- Assume primary responsibility for planning and facilitating all life engagement, family and in-house marketing events.
- Communicate all large community events with the Sales Director to verify if they would want to invite prospects to these events.
- **Customer Service**_
- Continually observe resident satisfaction with life engagement programming and look for opportunities to engage resident families for feedback regarding individual resident preferences
- Communicate with community leadership and resident families regarding successes and challenges observed while facilitating programs
- Arrange and execute the Transportation of residents and the process of transportation
- **Collaboration**_
- Educate residents, resident families, community leaders, and team members on the importance of life engagement programming
- Serve as a resource for team members regarding opportunities for additional informal life engagement activities outside of the scheduled programming

**Minimum Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Two (2) years of experience facilitating life engagement or activities programming for groups
- Valid Driver’s License

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience finding and scheduling presenters, speakers and acts to engage residents in their community setting.
- Experience planning and executing day trips with over ten attendees
- Ability to plan for and manage a monthly and quarterly budget.

**Physical Working Requirements**

While performing essential job function, the employee is frequently required to be able to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, do repetitive movement, sit and lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, have common sense understanding, and perform basic mathematics
- Have vision and hearing adequate to perform essential job functions
- Follow OSHA guidelines and universal precautions
