About the Role:

The Center for the Performing Arts at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking an experienced project coordinator to support the arts engagement team with guest and local artist projects, academically integrated coursework, and student and community engagement with the arts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with partners and units within the CPA to schedule and support artist engagements and related unit activities.
  • Coordinate documentation and evaluation of unit activities.
  • Maintain unit records, including calendar and Center-wide Microsoft Office shared information.
  • Coordinate logistics of artist engagements and other unit activities.
  • Manage unit director's schedule and calendar.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years prior project coordination experience.
  • Passion for the performing arts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks successfully, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with excellent teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner in all professional communications.
  • Demonstrated experience developing/handling logistics of community programs.

Additional Information:
