Role Overview:
As a Solar Sales Representative at VIA Energy Solutions, you will be at the forefront of our direct sales initiatives, actively engaging with potential customers through door-to-door canvassing and appointment setting. This dual role requires you not only to generate leads but also to close sales, utilizing your expertise to educate homeowners about the benefits of our solar solutions. You'll be responsible for converting consultations into installations, managing a robust pipeline, and continuously fostering customer relationships.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead Generation: Proactively canvass residential areas to generate leads and set up appointments with potential customers.
- Referral Acquisition: Actively seek and secure referrals from current and past customers, recognizing that referrals are among the most credible and valuable leads with the highest close ratios.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct in-depth, personalized presentations to potential customers, demonstrating the advantages of our solar solutions and how they meet the specific needs of each homeowner.
- Closing Sales: Take ownership of the entire sales process, from initial contact through to closing the deal, ensuring a high conversion rate from leads to actual sales.
- Appointment Management: Manage and follow up on scheduled appointments, ensuring high attendance rates and preparedness for each meeting.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers, fostering trust and ongoing engagement.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members, ensuring a seamless handover of leads and maximization of opportunities.
- Professional Development: It’s not required, but highly preferable for sales reps to strive for growth, aiming to become leaders and managers themselves. Qualifications:

- Experience: Proven experience in direct sales, preferably in the solar industry, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, persuasive negotiation capabilities, and the resilience to handle sales rejections.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet potential customers in their homes.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further education or training in sales, marketing, or related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Language: Proficient in both English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively communicate and translate in professional settings.
