Procurement Specialist

**Duties**
- Oversee entire bidding process to ensure project contracts and bids are completed and filed on time.
- Pursue and monitor submittals from subcontractors.
- Compile requests for Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
- Solicitating estimates from vendors.
- Establish the scope of work and RFP’s to be sent to bidders.
- Complete sub evaluations and comparisons of bids.
- Releasing addendum notices to bidders.
- Scope, review and complete buyout as requested by project manager.
- Manage submittal log and ensure all submittals are processed promptly and obtain designer approval.
- Assist in negotiating prices and other terms of a contract to achieve the satisfaction of both parties.
- Assist buyers with project purchase orders.
- Update weekly reports.
- Maintain subcontractor and supplier information.
- Assisting with various tasks within SAGE 100.
- Coordinate with other procurement team members and project managers.
**Requirements**:
- Previous construction experience preferred
- Strong communication skills required
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe required
- Experience in SAGE 100 (or similar software) is strongly preferred.
- Must be detailed and have strong organizational skills.
- Must be a self-starter as well as a quick and willing learner.
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
