**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Coordinator located in Livermore, CA. The Quality (QA) Coordinator will ensure quality remains at the heart of the organization. He/she coordinates all internal and external activities necessary to meet both company and customer quality standards. These include management systems such as ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 17025, philosophies such as Total Quality Management, and methodologies such as Continuous Improvement. The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring quality control, implementing quality management procedures, conducting quality auditing, and analyzing data. Effective communication skills are essential in this role to collaborate with different teams and provide accurate and timely reports.

**Job Functions**
- Writes and maintains Quality SOP’s and departmental work instructions.
- Performs all auditing tasks
- Calculating Measurement Uncertainties
- Resolves customer complaints
- Defines quality measurement and data collection methods
- Tracks metrics to demonstrate quality achievement
- Manages all quality records
- Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation
- Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply
- Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
- Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training
- Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters
- Establishing standards of service for customers or clients
- Review calibration records for accuracy and compliance.

**Qualifications**
- Proficiency with the ISO 17025 and ISO 9001: 2015 standards
- Excellent verbal and written skills, as well as the ability to work on a team are essential
- Quality Control and Quality Management skills
- Analytical Skills for data analysis
- Experience in conducting quality audits
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality assurance processes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in the calibration or testing industry is a plus

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
