Member Services Specialist

- Answers and directs all incoming calls and greets and directs all guests and staff.
- Physician support to include: schedule and confirm appointments, taking vitals, follow up on after-hours tasks.
- Completes admissions process for new consumers
- Assists with transportation arrangements for consumers.
- Serve as lead and champion for claim Clearing House (SPSI) to best utilize system capabilities in analyzing and tracking claim submission and adjudication status.
- Establishes strong relationship with major funder claim operations department and serve as lead to resolve any dispute or complex issues.
- Understands and is familiar with basic behavioral health clinical terminology and outpatient billing codes, as well as funder billing matrix to ensure billing accuracy.
- Supports and complies with all company policies and procedures and complies with Medicaid regulations.
- Assist in the identification, analysis, and resolution of reimbursement, compliance and internal audit issues related to revenue cycle and data validation in a timely manner.
- Processes requests for transfers in or out of agencies.
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalence; and at least 1 year administrative/clerical telephone/switchboard experience
- Prefer typing speed of at least 50 wpm and use 10-key by touch.
- Must be proficient with MS Office products.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid AZ Drivers License
- Must possess an AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
