We currently seek a Vice President of Evaluation and Impact to join Osborne. The Vice President of Evaluation and Impact works to establish a data-informed approach to advancing Osborne’s mission through data generation, analysis, and information exchange. The VP has ownership over the development and implementation of strategies to track its programmatic and organizational impact and will significantly contribute to the development of narratives surrounding Osborne’s work. The VP will expand the organization’s capacity to measure the effectiveness of its work through internal initiatives and external research partnerships, with the aim of generating data that can enhance impact, expand investment in programming, and support policy advocacy.

The Vice President directly supervises the Director of Data Analytics and will oversee the work of the Data Analytics team. The VP serves as a resource to departments across the agency and develops tools to evaluate, learn from, and improve outcomes while ensuring the inclusion of evidence-based decision-making throughout. The VP works with other senior leaders in the organization to integrate insights gained from evaluative activities, and ensure that research, evaluation, and program analytics are an integral part of program design and management.

**Salary Range**:$130,000 - $140,000 annually

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Expand Organizational Impact and Evaluation**
- Supervise the Director of Impact and Evaluation and support all relevant impact and evaluation work across Osborne Association and program areas.
- Champion Osborne’s work and vision for a more just future by devising and drafting whitepapers, articles, and other publishable materials, rooted in the qualitative and quantitative data collected by the agency.
- Facilitate peer-to-peer learning opportunities, conversations, and partnerships with other organization and jurisdictions both nationally and internationally
- Amplify Osborne’s thought leadership by convening partners and stakeholder groups across relevant disciplines and sectors to advance work in the field
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify, track, and evaluate the impact of annual priorities.
- Partner with advocacy staff to strengthen Osborne’s public and strategic positions through a data-informed lens.
- Spearhead the development, implementation, evaluation, and integration of a data-driven process to evaluate the impact of current programming and better understand the needs and experiences of program participants.
- Cultivate a culture of data and learning across the organization to support the collaborative development and tracking of key initiatives and priorities.
- Help create an internal culture of learning, inquiry, and experimentation that fosters the organization’s capacity to gather, use, and share data to inform effective program planning and implementation

**Strategically Enhance Internal Operations**
- Support the creation, implementation, and evaluation of agency strategic plans and objectives
- Collaborate with the Communications team to effectively translate the findings of research and evaluation projects to internal and external audiences.
- Partner with Program leadership to develop and refine key performance indicators.
- Assist Development operations through the production and monitoring of data needed for reports, RFPs, and other funding needs.
- Standardize the use of data collection tools for the organization, including surveys, interviews, and observational data, through the development and implementation of standard operating procedures.
- Develop tools to support the replication and adoption of innovative program models

**Data Management and Analysis**
- Supervise the Data Analytics team and, in collaboration with the Director of Data Analytics, develop, implement, and evaluate new and existing data collection tools.
- Lead the development and implementation of a program data strategy, and, in collaboration with IT, ensure that data systems meet the needs for program management, evaluation, and other functions.
