About the Role

CAMBA is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Vice President to lead our shelter operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our shelters, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients, and driving business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to shelter staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver excellent services.
  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of our clients, align with our organizational goals, and are responsive to community needs.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that all shelter operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies.
  • Staff Development and Training: Provide training and development opportunities to shelter staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
  • Community Engagement and Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funders, ensuring that our shelter operations are responsive to community needs and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of shelter operations, ensuring that budgets are managed effectively and that resources are allocated efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and three years of applicable experience, or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven leadership and management experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
