Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide strategic direction and oversight to shelter staff, ensuring alignment with CAMBA's mission and goals.
    • Develop and implement effective operational plans, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Client Services
    • Ensure that all clients receive high-quality services, including comprehensive assessments, individualized service plans, and ongoing support.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
  • Program Development and Evaluation
    • Develop and implement new programs and services to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the community.
    • Conduct regular program evaluations to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Staff Development and Training
    • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities to shelter staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Ensure that all staff are equipped to provide high-quality services to our clients.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure that all shelter operations are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and three years of applicable experience, or equivalent experience.
    • Master's degree preferred (e.g., Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling/Guidance, Art Therapy).
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in shelter operations or a related field.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
