Human Resources Recruiter/generalist

In this role, you will primarily be recruiting for a wide variety of professional positions, and you may also perform some related duties as a human resources specialist.
**Responsibilities**:
- Write and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers and universities boards
- Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters
- Make a high volume of outbound calls to both active and passive job seekers
- Conduct phone, video and/or in-person interviews
- Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
- Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions
- Prepare new hire paperwork
- Maintain a complete record of recruiting activity, interviews and new hires
- Attend job fairs and careers events
- Participate in cold calling for recruitment purposes
- Develop and implement training programs for employees
**Skills**:
- Proven work experience as a recruiter
- Experience in employee evaluation and orientation
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management
- An incredibly strong level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
- Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral)
- Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn
