- Collaborate with the Director of Resource Development & Marketing to plan, coordinate, and execute special events, marketing, public relations, and fundraising strategies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive event planning guides and a marketing calendar to promote the Boys & Girls Club year-round.
- Organize and execute all fundraising events, including Taste of Wine & Cheese and Taste of Rosholt, ensuring they meet or exceed budgeted goals.
- Support in-Club special events such as BGC Awards Night and Thanksgiving banquets.
- Coordinate and drive the Great Futures Annual Campaign, working closely with the Board to meet budgeted goals.
- Expand the existing donor base and increase individual and business giving through donor development, cultivation, and stewardship.
- Develop and distribute weekly articles, press releases, media alerts, newsletter content, and updates for the website and social media to raise public awareness.
- Participate in fundraising event planning meetings and events.
- Foster collaborative partnerships with Club staff, volunteers, members, supporters, media contacts, event partners, and other not-for-profit organizations.
- Submit monthly marketing reports to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Develop and deliver presentations for local engagements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in marketing, public relations, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in nonprofit sectors, PR, marketing, fundraising, or development is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience in upholding and promoting an organization’s mission and brand.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with donors, community groups, board members, volunteers, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency with technology is essential; must be skilled or willing to learn MS Office, Constant Contact, donor software, and Canva.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Capacity to think clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to navigate stairs.
