As a Supervisory Intelligence Operations Specialist, GS-0132-15, your typical work assignments may include:
- Exercise authority and accomplish coordinator in governmental affairs, with specific responsibility for overall management, coordination, and administration of a specific area of responsibility.
- Providing the US Government with current situational awareness of nation-state threats related to the DHS mission.
- Plans, organizes and directs the activities of the I&A, COI, and DHS, ensuring research, analysis, production and reporting activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs and IC Standards.

- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- You must successfully pass a background investigation.
- You must submit to a pre-employment drug test.
- You may be required to serve a two-year trial period.
- Acceptance of an excepted service appointment from applicants in the competitive service will require a written statement of understanding when voluntarily leaving the competitive service.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
- Incumbent is required to file an OGE Form 450. Confidential Financial Disclosure, upon appointment and will be required to file annually.
- Overnight Travel of 1-5 nights per month may be required.
- May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and/or overtime, and/or 24/7 shift schedules, and/or on-call and standby duty status.
- Work may require relocation to an alternate work site for various lengths of time to meet operational requirements.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
- May be required to regularly support 24/7 watch operations requiring irregular work hours from a variety of locations throughout the National Capital Region.
**Qualifications**:
**Specialized Experience**:
You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, performing duties such as:
- Developing, defining and delivering briefings to senior level government stakeholders; applies analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of real or potential threats to individuals or infrastructure.
- Serving as the primary liaison to share and receive intelligence on transnational organized crime threats with state, local, and tribal law enforcement officials, intelligence community.
- Coordinating with agency partners and shares relevant intelligence and threat information with internal and external local transportation stakeholders.

- This position is designated as Emergency Essential.
