WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Latin Recording Academy is seeking an Awards Coordinator to assist the Director with the overall awards process as well as provide customer service to record labels, industry professionals, and nominees.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Enter and manage submissions from Yangaroo database into LARAS Entry Database.
- Code entries from record labels and members.
- Verify entries.
- Order missing Recording Package and digital product.
- Request streaming links on entries when necessary.
- Maintain the Awards processes files.
- Coordinate the Best New Artist and Song categories for the Nominating Review Committee meetings.
- Verify final nominations.
- Enter and maintain nominee addresses in database.
- Assist with obtaining mailing addresses for nominees.
- Prepare Nominee letters for mailings.
- Assist with mailing invitations to nominees.
- Coordinate nominee ticket orders.
- Act as first point of contact during ticket pick-up.
- Prepare and ship Nominating, Winner’s, and Publisher’s certificates.
- Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of the Screening and Nominating Committee meetings.
- Various other research projects and general duties upon request.
- Assist in other special projects as needed by the Company.
- Available to travel as needed.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing preferred.
- 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in the entertainment industry.
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
- Strong computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM Databases.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and interact in a professional and respectful manner with staff, members, and outside stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High sense of responsibility, timing, and punctuality.
- Accuracy and excellence in taking care of privacy, personal information, sensitive data, etc.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

The starting base rate for this position is $22.26 - $24.26 per hour, benchmarked against industry standards. Rates for positions required to be in specific geographic locations reflect the corresponding labor market.
