**_ Sales Development Specialist_**:

He/she will have responsibility for his/her own work.

**_ Essential Duties and Responsibilities:_**
- Identify new prospects for the business.
- Sell and close new business accounts.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs and objectives.
- Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, and trade shows to promote our products and services.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes, streamline operations, and enhance overall business efficiency.
- Understand company products and services meticulously.
- Expected travel of 30% to visit new and current customers, dealer/jobber shops, and attend events.

**Your Creds**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field is required.
- 4-5 years of new business development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive knowledge base of the auto industry, including parts and mechanical systems
- Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Genuine compassion for customer satisfaction.
- Must demonstrate professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to produce quality work within tight deadlines.
- Ability to exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback to others.

**_ Physical Demands & Working Conditions:_**:
Normal office environment. Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct customer meetings and presentations. Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Overtime as required.
