This is a Series recruitment and will close on June 7, 2024.

**About the Position**
Record clerks working in Probation process and interpret information from a variety of source documents, data entry, and customer service. Incumbents in these positions also provide confidential juvenile/adult offenders’ information to Probation Officers, law enforcement agencies attorneys. Positions may be in assigned to work in locked correctional facilities; interact with resident/incarcerated individuals. Position may be stationed to work in back-office and/or reception and interact with staff from the Superior Courts of California. Probation Records Clerks are supervised by Senior Office assistant and/or Supervising Office Assistant.

**Education and/or Experience**
- One (1) year of recent full-time general clerical experience performing duties such as typing/keyboarding, filing, reception, and records management; OR,
- Completion of an administrative, office, or front desk certificate program from a recognized community or business college.
- Note_**: An associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency may substitute for experience listed above.
