Summary of Description: The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for maintaining accurate and organized inventory, keeping a clean warehouse, making proper purchases to ensure the inventory on hand is needed and staged. The Inventory Control Supervisor directs and coordinates activities involved with procuring products for sales and distribution. In larger branches, the Supervisor will manage an Inventory Control Associate.

- Responsible for the entire warehouse - Procedures; Organization; Safety; Improvements; etc.
- Responsible for proper storage of indoor and outdoor chemical
- Manages inventory purchases for the branch
- Manages incoming and outgoing inventory
- Accurately tracks and updates inventory costs in company software system
- Oversees monthly and annual inventory counts
- Determines correct stock levels based on usage
- Manages and places weekly chemical orders
- Oversees supplies and the distribution of chemicals and parts to technicians on a daily basis
- Assists team to find parts and correct part numbers
- Implements improved methods to reduce costs and turn inventory faster
- Manages and tracks tools and supplies inventory
- Responsible for rebuilding route tools with replacement parts
- Responsible for filling reagents and ensures they are properly stored
- Manages returns to distribution on a weekly basis
- Completes warranty returns and tracks shipments
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Licensure and Experience Requirements:

- High School Diploma/GED, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of management experience in distribution or warehouse environment preferred
- Computer skills including MS Office and Inventory Management software
- Knowledge of pool and spa equipment, chemicals, construction materials, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, and goods is helpful or preferred
- Forklift operator license certification may be required depending on size of warehouse
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report
- **Valid license, 3 years verifiable driving history and clean driving record for the past 5 years**

Competencies/Skills:

- Ability to work independently and to plan, organize and schedule work
- Maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with customers, supervisor, and team members
- Attention to detail and strong customer service skills
- Requires high tolerance for ambiguity, good judgment, strong work ethic and sense of urgency Ability to deal with difficult situations in a professional manner
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, leadership, and collaboration in a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization required with strong follow up and follow through
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Physically, the position requires walking, standing, and sitting for long periods of time in an office environment
