Position Summary

The Inventory Solutions Specialist is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving inventory discrepancies and material non-compliance issues. This role involves implementing effective solutions to improve warehouse operations, monitoring systems, and maintaining accurate reports. The specialist performs complex work assignments and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance inventory management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Root Cause Analysis: Gather data to identify and resolve inventory and material issues with the pick plan using systems such as measuring devices, operator input, system reports, brainstorming sessions, and historical data.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Utilize hands-on technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex inventory and material problems. This may require availability for off-shift issues and extended hours to ensure resolution.
  • Collaboration and Problem Solving: Work closely with Group Leaders to address and solve problems in a team-oriented environment.
  •  Training and Documentation: Develop work instructions and provide training to team members on inventory-related issues to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze data to make informed decisions and implement continuous improvement strategies for inventory management.
  • Time Management: Perform effectively under stress while maintaining strong relationships with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Policy and Procedure Compliance: Ensure adherence to existing policies, procedures, and work instructions, and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.
  •  Data Governance: Maintain data governance within the Warehouse Management System (BOSS) to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  •  Corrective Actions: Identify, communicate, and implement corrective actions for inventory-related issues.
  • Visual Inspection: Conduct accurate visual inspections to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.
  •  Inventory Management: Collaborate with supply groups to maintain accurate inventory levels and perform daily audits of shipments and receipts.
  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Interface with internal and external partners to achieve supply chain objectives and act as a liaison between the warehouse and customer service teams.
  • Financial Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial standards and resolve related issues.
  •  Inventory Control: Track inventory maintenance, control equipment flow, and assess warehouse transactions to support operational efficiency.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):

  • HS Diploma required, (AS or BS in Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred).
  •  Excellent English written and verbal communication skills required

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  •  This is a 100% on-site position.
