In your position as Assistant Corporate Controller, you will lead and manage daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting functions including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Audit, and Compliance Support. Ensure compliance with Company Policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This position will report to the Corporate Controller.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the month-end and year-end close process.
- Preparation and maintenance of all accounting records, ledgers, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards.
- Implement and ensure best practices in the company's monthly financial close cycle and reporting.
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Review and approve monthly Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations prepared by Senior Staff Accountant
- Manage day-to-day activities of Corporate Accounting staff
- Assist the Corporate Controller with company’s Treasury functions to include ACH and Wire bank confirmations and payments, and reviewing and approving positive pay transactions
- Participate in the preparation of the annual financial, insurance, and sales tax audits.
- Oversee the company’s Fixed Asset process to include accounting for additions to the company’s rental fleet, and other PPE, and ensure compliance with policy
- Assist with the development, maintenance of, and adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7-10+ years of progressive experience in an accounting role with at least 3 years of experience as a Senior Staff Accountant or Accounting Manager within a corporate office or public company setting
- Experience with accounting systems, SAP Concur and Acumatica preferred
- Proven track record in accounting operations and process improvement, automation
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
- Must be a self-starter and capable of working on projects independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
