**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support instrumentation and testing of Electric Power generator sets.
- Read test plans, set up equipment, execute tests, collect data, communicate results, and tear down equipment.
- Set up and operate a variety of instrumentation and measurement equipment for validation testing.
- Troubleshoot to ensure accurate data collection and innovation to develop custom test configurations.
- Collaborate with facility technicians and engineering to support preparation of test unit and test cell.
- Manage and maintain equipment and calibration status.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- High school diploma or GED with 8+ years’ experience.
- Associate’s degree in electronics technology, diesel power, or a related field with 2-4 years’ experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or related field.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Experience working in a lab / testing environment.
- Knowledge of generator set assembly and operation.
- Strong electrical and mechanical background.
- Test experience with engines or generator sets.
- Eager to learn and develop testing skillset.
- Knowledge of safe work and test practices.
- Knowledge of electrical components, generator sets, and testing equipment.
- Knowledge of test equipment like multimeters, soldering/harnessing, strain gauges, accelerometers, thermocouples, pressure transducers, proximity probes, telemetry, DAQ systems, and hand tools.
- Knowledge of safe work and test practices.

**SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Detail Oriented and analytical.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working through issues and solving problems.
- Capable of working independently and with others.
