POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for executing various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the facility and surrounding areas are maintained in a hygienic, safe, and organized manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough sweeping or scrubbing of floors in both production and office areas.
  • Regularly empty and sanitize all waste containers and properly dispose of waste materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restroom facilities.
  • Perform additional duties as needed, including window washing, wall cleaning, and painting.
  • Manage swarf disposal, ensuring dry swarf is kept clear to mitigate fire risks.
  • Organize and store janitorial supplies effectively.
  • Distribute cleaning supplies throughout the facility as required.
  • Operate various power equipment, including sweepers, scrubbers, tractors, and lift trucks.
  • Assist maintenance staff as directed by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all Ethics and Safety Programs.
  • Comply with Export, Import, and Supply Chain Security Policies relevant to the role.
  • Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs.
  • Maintain adherence to ISO 9000 Standards.
  • Job responsibilities are not limited to the above.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Travel: Not applicable.
  • Computer Skills:
    • Familiarity with Personal Computers.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Skilled in using the Internet.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
