Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Perform various quality control functions throughout the plant, using good judgment and reasoning skills to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Component Inspection: Inspect components and assemblies for dimensional and visual characteristics, including checking for defective components and sizing parts for the assembly department.
  • Gauging and Calibration: Perform gauging and calibration of components and assemblies, as well as maintain and test gauging equipment.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inspections, rework, and scrap, as well as complete required paperwork.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with co-workers, suppliers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and meet customer requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Education or GED
  • Experience: None required, but prior experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
