**JOB SUMMARY**:
Specific areas of oversight include:
- Lead and manage the distribution center team to achieve operational goals and meet performance metrics.
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with union representatives, ensuring positive labor relations and successful negotiations.
- Conduct and comply with beverage partner audits and requirements.
- Drive a culture of safety and security, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and state/federal/company policies to create a safe working environment.
- Implement and enhance security protocols to safeguard the distribution center's assets and inventory.
- Prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions in order to meet financial objectives of the warehouse and delivery function.
- Onboard and train new employees in the department; assign and manage work; track team performance against KPIs; establish and manage development plans and complete performance appraisals.
- Ensure availability of adequate and appropriate staffing in the department; coordinate personnel solutions for employee PTO (planned and unplanned).
**Requirements**:
**MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 year of operations, distribution center and/or warehouse/delivery leadership experience
- Experience in a unionized environment with strong knowledge of union negotiations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software
**PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS**:
Ability to ascend and descend stairs and traverse small spaces, remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, move about to access materials and equipment to perform job duties, operate basic tools, communicate with customers and co-workers, and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
