**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
The role involves offering Information Technology (IT) Help Desk support for IT hardware and software, both in-person and remotely, acting as a bridge between IT and end-users during issue resolution. Additionally, responsibilities include providing follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction, managing inventory, distributing software, and monitoring network security for personal computers within the DMVA enterprise network, covering various locations including Fort Indiantown Gap and veterans' homes.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Annville.
- ** Salary**:_ _In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

**Other Requirements**:

- You must possess a valid federal or state-issued photo ID and pass a favorable NCIC screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

**Legal Requirements**:

- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
