Worthy Wellness Center is a boutique, gender-specific wellness center offering SUD and MH primary treatment for women at PHP/IOP levels of care. Our co-occurring program is dedicated to empowering women to overcome destructive patterns, find inner peace, self love, and genuine happiness. With our team of compassionate clinical and holistic leaders, we offer trauma informed care in a safe and supportive space in the beautiful village of Carlsbad, just one block from the beach.

The Business Development Representative facilitates and manages referral relations and admissions. This role is responsible for representing the organization out in the community, developing relationships with local businesses, resources, and other members of the substance use treatment community for the purpose of business development and securing admissions. This position is responsible for facilitating the full pre-admission process. **This position includes competitive salary plus a robust bonus structure.**

QUALIFICATIONS

1) Experience working with members of SUD population.

2) Experience working at an agency that is licensed an/or certified by the CA Department of

Healthcare Services (DHCS).

3) Experience working at any agency accredited by the Joint Commission.

4) Experience working with EMR systems is preferable (i.e. Kipu)

**5) Experience in public relations, sales, marketing, & strategic planning. An existing book of business is preferred for this position.**

6) Willingness & ability to accommodate up to 50% travel time

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all Business Development endeavors, activities, & relationships.
- Plan & oversee organization’s marketing initiatives, in conjunction with the executive team.
- Liaise with other agencies, organizations, and groups.
- Create and foster lasting relationships with others in the industry.
- Develop strategies to organically attract & secure admissions.
- Create calendars for trips related to business development & marketing; have schedules approved by the Executive Director.
- Collect payment and insurance information from clients and guarantors.
- Answer intake line calls and score all calls in Call Tracking Metrics (CTM) in real time.
- Run & review verification of insurance benefits (VOBs) to determine.
- Assist with coordination of client insurance issues.
- Provide referrals & facilitate a transfer when a client’s condition necessitates transfer to a higher LOC (or presents with needs outside the scope)
- Manage the ‘Referrals Sent/Landed spreadsheets; check each list daily & enter updates in real time.
- Notify Clients and/or guarantors of outstanding deductible & out of pocket (OOP) max fees, in accordance with respective clients’ particular health plan/ insurance policy.
- Arrange for or facilitate the collection of deductible payments from clients in the current census at the start of each calendar year.
- Send out a Bloom text every Monday morning detailing the client pipeline for the current week.
- Prompt & obtain company reviews (i.e. Google business reviews) from all program participants at time of/ immediately following discharge. Goal is to obtain 1 review daily.
- Participate in Business Development Monthly Review meeting on the first Monday of each month.
- Participate in weekly Business-Development-Strategy meetings with the Executive Director on Monday and Thursday mornings.
- Promote clinical treatment program provided by Worthy Wellness Center.
- Strengthen the organization’s affiliate network on social media sites (specifically Linked in) by regularly reaching out to Discharge Planners, Business Development Directors, and other representatives from outside organizations.
- Create company posts & release onto program’s social media sites on Friday of each week. Visit local hospitals, programs, & detox facilities to promote the program offered by The Program.
- Attend at least 1 seminar or networking event focused on trauma, mental health, & substance abuse each week.
- Attend 2 tours of potential referral partner facilities weekly.
- Conduct 3 in service tours of Worthy Wellness Center weekly.
- Participate in 2 H&I panels per month.
- Meet monthly admission goals consistently (baseline: 5 admissions monthly).
- Regularly attend program Leadership meeting (in-person or remote) each Monday at 6pm
- Exercise willingness & flexibility to travel on behalf of the program (up to 50%).
- Report to Executive Director on a daily basis
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
