**Position Overview**:
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing the business across multiple locations. This role involves maintaining existing business relationships, acquiring new business, and working closely with the site General Manager to maximize profitability. Prior experience in cold storage is a plus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Team Management**:

- Manage, train, and provide performance feedback to direct reports.
- Assign duties to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- ** Sales and Business Development**:

- Work with the site General Manager to develop targeted action plans for generating new sales leads and prospects.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Create and deliver proposal presentations and responses to Requests for Proposals (rate quotes) to address prospective clients' business challenges.
- ** Customer Relationship Management**:

- Partner with other Sales Managers team to sell the suite of services across the FreezPak network.
- Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
- ** Record Keeping and Reporting**:

- Develop and maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports to achieve maximum profit margin.
- Maintain awareness of performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide sales performance updates to Senior Management.
- ** Budget and Expense Management**:

- Manage budget and control expenses to ensure compliance with targets and guidelines.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Partner with the General Manager and facility leadership team to achieve operational efficiencies and continuous improvement targets in the area of sales.

**Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)**:

- ** Education**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and/or sales management.
- Previous experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management including prospecting, selling, and closing new business.
- Experience managing, training, and developing people in sales roles.
- ** Skills**:

- Ability to gain deep knowledge of the entire suite of company’s service offerings and utilize it to maximize sales opportunities during customer solutioning.
- Basic math skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
- Ability to lead discussions, make presentations, and deliver technical results to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- ** Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F (-25°C) in cold storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels, which can be loud at times.
