The primary responsibilities of a Sales Associate at James Avery involve providing exceptional customer service and assisting guests in selecting and purchasing merchandise.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and resolve guest issues effectively.
• Accurately enter guest data and sales information into the point-of-sale system.
• Present jewelry from stock to guests and ensure items are replaced in their correct locations after sales.
• Perform jewelry repairs, polishing, and soldering (for those 18 and older).
• Utilize the GUESTS program when interacting with guests on the sales floor or via phone, and when handling guest-owned jewelry.
• Provide knowledgeable service to guests regarding product information, utilizing in-store tools and training.
• Box and wrap sales for gift presentation.
• Meet established individual key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Store Management to achieve store key performance indicator metrics.
• Assist in maintaining a high level of store presentation, adhering to company standards.
• Participate in daily housekeeping and maintenance duties.
• Attend all required meetings.
• Consistently demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and high organizational skills.
• Effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.
**Requirements**

• Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and manage frequent interruptions.

**Preferred Qualifications**
• Previous retail sales or customer service experience.
